UPDATE
First time Google OTA updates is recommended .Open data , setup what should then see if there is a NOTIFY to update ,
please update and follow the instructions update file updates that ...

Download Google on OTA ( update.zip ) and copy to sdcard .Turn off the phone and went into the stock recovery :

STOCK ROM

HOW TO FLASH STOCK ROM :
- Install the USB drivers on your PC / laptop
- Connect hp pc and select USB debugging on hp , install the drivers

- Run Flashtool
- TICK on the tickbox ALL DA DL With Check Sum
- Click the Scatter
- loading at the right side
- Select the folder
MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt at Rome / target_bin /
- Click on Download or firmware
- > Upgrade ( upgrade if the 119 rom )
- Connect the phone to the PC USB and wait until after load rom.

For this P780 Root easy enough, just need to download and install FRAMAROOT above and then select :
1 . superuser
2 . Boromir
Just need to tap Boromir and root process will run , reboot phone and see there is an app in app drawer SuperSU

CWM Recovery
Use custom recovery is useful to backup your rom , bootloop in case you can restore the backup only.Download MobileUncle above or from Playstore Tool and install it.Download your choice of either CWM recovery or TWRP and copy to sdcard ( not in the root folder)
Open MobileUncle Tool:
1 . Select backup restore IMEI ( MTK )
2 . Choose IMEI backup to sdcard
3 . Select the backup IMEI to sdcard2
4 . Select Update Recovery and select your copy earlier recovery
5 . When finished, they will come out popups select NO

RESET BUTTON
